You can't be a Legend whilst currently still smashing unless your career is decades old.
I dunno why this site overrates the word 'Icon'. Every semi-big celebrity is an Icon to some degree, Katy is easily one, it's not an overly impressive title. Icon basically means you have fans/influence people, which Katy clearly does.
