Is 'The Monster' the irrelevant #1 single that won't last?
Don't get me wrong, the song itself is perfect, maybe even better than overrated Airplanes rip-off (I never liked LTWYL that much), yet Em and Rih did absolutely nothing to promote the single despite its reaching #1 on the most important chart, not to mention never in my life have I seen a song peaking so fast on radio. It hit #1 on radio charts before the video came out. And now it seems that no one's even talking about the song, like it's not a real #1. Will it be remembered and considered an important hit from Rih and Em?
