I feel like radio will be rooting for her this time around, and be more accepting to her new music. The industry is so different now, when Dignity was released radio was really specific with what it played now it's a little more open and accepting. I also feel like a lot of people are going to be interested in what she has to offer cause she's been a way for so long, this is her time to comeback strong.

Look at the performance of Miley, Selena, Demi... on radio lately, I believe that she really has a good chance. she just needs to create enough hype - even without heavy radio deals, they will automatically play her songs :celetial4:

I think Hilary is going to have a decent chance. It all depends on if radio programmers want to pretend like she's a brand new artist or that she's a has been trying to come back. It'll also depend on how hard her music is pushed to radio and if it's really catchy. There are a lot of factors that go into it actually.

But yes, I think the fact that Miley and Selena have gotten more than two radio hits works to Hilary's favor. It's funny because it's like a full circle if her next single does well on radio. Hilary had a few radio hits that opened the doors for the other girls and they will be a reason as to why she has a radio hit now.

Selena is particularly surprising because she's been getting airplay in Australia. It was a rare occasion if you heard Hilary on the radio down here way back in the day. I remember Someones Watching Over Me came in at #1 on the Hot30 Countdown a few times which was so cool.

YAY for the success of SWOM. Like in Malaysia here too, Selena, Demi, Miley and other Disney girls are being OVERPLAYED BADLY. Radios even still overplay their old songs from 2009!

Back during the Hilary days, they did play alot of her songs but never to the point that it was overplayed tbh. The Dignity era was sadder, only With Love was played and it was only for like a few months. Then Hilary disappeared from radios. The last time I heard her song on radio here was two years ago.

I'm not as optimistic about Hilary's future on radio, just cause she was never heavily supported on it before as far as I know. We just have no clue how her music is gonna perform on it especially after so long, but like you all said, Hilary is REALLY smart and knows how to get what she wants, so we'll see! I wonder if she's close to signing a record deal yet.

I prefer the solo version. Prophet's rap irritates me and I personally think it's kind of unnecessary. I had a demo of the song at one point, too, but I lost it when my computer crashed years ago.

So Yesterday went #15 on pop radio and Come Clean peaked at #9.

Once OLAS was released she never had another single peak higher than #27.
