Singles - Carrie is still doing amazing at having #1 chart hits and selling multiple platinum songs.

Albums - The good successful amount for a successful artists to sell here in the states is around 1 million - 3 million. As long as Carrie stays within that range then shes in the clear as a successful US artist. Then again, Carrie is a very local artist meaning she can't pull numbers like Taylor who is selling WW. 7 million in the US alone is VERY rare and she probably won't ever hit it again let alone upcoming artists that could potentially be her competitors in the industry.

it's simply impossible, unless she goes pop and dubstep, and she needs to date high profile stars to create hype
with the rare exception of Adele, multi-platinum is such a huge achievement these days.

Blown Awayvwill cross 2M this year. PO took two years to cross it and BA is selling more weekly this far in than PO did.

Part of the reason why Some Hearts was so successful was because Jesus, Take the Wheel and Before He Cheats had a lot of crossover success. Maybe if Carrie/her label tries to send her material to more mainstream radios or even more radio formats we could see better album sales as well as single sales. Also, some collabs wouldn't hurt Carrie.

Speaking of collabs, I need more flawless collabs like in that song What Can I Say. I wish more country male singers would sound like that lead singer from Sons of Sylvia. He doesn't have that froggy voice or overdo their twang like 99% of the male country singers out there, plus he has a powerful voice.

It'd be awesome if Carrie and Hunter collabed, which is a good possibility. You know, Justin Timberlake is interested in doing a little bit of country music. I highly doubt they would ever collab, but I can dream, can't I?

Leaving current relevance aside, how about a vocal showdown duet between Carrie and Martina McBride? Those vocals on that would slay entire careers.

Also, a collab between Carrie and Faith Hill would be insane, the press coverage alone in the country world would propel that song to a multi week #1 country smash.

Awesome idea! Except I forgot about 90% of these performances based on just the song title and awards show alone.
