Just because people perceive them as part of a food group doesn't mean that 'food animals' should be treated with less attention than pets or other animals. The same goes for animals used for sports or work e.g foxes, pheasants, bears, donkeys, oxen/bulls, camels, elephants, horses and many more. The food and sports (sports which involve killing/hunting the animals) animals get the least care, as well as the animals used for experimentation (for everything from medicine to household and beauty products) whose number drastically increase every year.

I agree 100% , I'm not liking the pictures I'm seeing, sorry I don't like any animals being locked up like that
