One of my favorite covers she's done, I had never even heard the original before this.

Love In These Eyes is one of her most beautiful songs. The lyrics speak to me so much.

Now that I think about it I feel like Hello is kind of like a sequel to Love in these Eyes. Hello is all about her looking in the mirror and seeing the person she thought she could be. Such a fortune teller

So pretty I love power anthem Kelly, don't get me wrong, but I would totally dig country material like that.

11 days til Nashville/Fade Into You

Though, considering how messy her country releases have been, I won't be surprised if we get a random tweet the Monday before Nashville saying "Thank you Flop 92.7 for premiering my new country single 'Fade Into You'!"

Kelly is a guest star on Nashville, and on the show Kelly wants to record Fade Into You, but she's not releasing it. That's just for the show.

She recorded the song. She's singing it on the show, at least according to TV Line/the show runner. Even if it doesn't get an iTunes release (every Nashville song does) we'd still have the rips.

I watch the show, and the people who sang the song originally are song-writers and they write songs for famous country singers on the show. She's guest starring as herself, and in the show she wants to record. Yes, all of Nashville songs get released on iTunes, so if she recorded the song it most likely be released on Itunes, but it is not a song for her Country Album, its jut for the show, and I don't think it will be a single of any kind.

I'm just saying, whether it is or isn't, that's how all her country releases have been.

The country scene may be friendlier, the award shows more fun/casual, but the industry is a freaking mess. Even with her connections and history of celebrated country collabs, she struggles this much to land a moderate solo hit. Messsssss.

This is because she's yet to release a country album. The country audience just isn't a fan of single releases, they like having an album behind it. Kelly has never released a full-out country album, and that's not helping her.
