I have wealthy parents and grandparents who worked hard for their money and who deserve what they have. BUT, that does NOT mean I (or my family) think poor people deserve less. There are poor people who work just as hard as my parents do, yet have not had the same financial success. I think that is a disgrace and unfair to those people. But that doesn't make my parents bad people for finding success. It doesn't make my parents smarter or better, it just means they were lucky. People make a lot of assumptions about others, and they're usually false.

the point is that hard work ALONE should NOT and does NOT make someone wealth. If someone works their butt off flipping burgers or washing dishes, is he contributing enough to society to warrant becoming a millionaire? Honest answer: no.
If someone works hard as an accountant or research assistant, do they contribute enough or create enough value to become a millionaire? In most cases, no, but more so than a burger flipper or dish washer.
But if you invent something that makes life easier for millions of people, or create a new technology or new way of doing things that's better than the rest, then yes, society demands it, so they do deserve to be rich.
Even if it took them less work to sell it, their necessity to other people makes them critical.
