I don't get this "it doesn't sound like a hit" mentality. What becomes a hit these days is not clear, there is no "hit" sound at the moment, AND there are so many aspects to a hit song nowadays. Streaming, digital sales, radio, social media, etc. A song not getting +2330 updates on Pop radio doesn't mean ****.

Look at 90% of the artists getting played on Pop radio and let me know how much their albums are selling.

Keyshias music has always been well-received especially for a mainstream artist , infact her latest offering, Woman to Woman, has a higher metacritic rating than any female RNB album released since.

IWALY and MHWGO are both the most important songs when it comes to ballads by females. Also they are the songs to go whenever some female wants to prove she can sing. AIWFC remains irrelevant outside of anglophone countries, like pretty much all Mariah's discography.
