Nickelodeon is a bit TOO much of a joke. Disney at least had shows catered to teens. Nick has always been ridiculously childish.
EDIT: For clarification, I mean ridiculously childish since the age of the child-stars-becoming-singers/Hollywood Records phase circa Hilary Duff - Nick's programming was not up to par. 90s Nick was everything.

I think they we need a good TV show on a big network tbh. Melissa Joan Hart was a Nickelodeon girl herself (Clarissa Explains It All anyone?). Then she got cast as Sabrina for Sabrina the Teenage Witch and of course that show was a success for 7 years. And now Melissa has her own show on ABC Family which is going to eventually get 100 episodes and 4 seasons.
So yeah, it is all about playing their cards right.

Anyways, I don't know. Liz Gillies & Victoria had potential but Liz didn't release anything and Victoria released the wrong material at the wrong time.
Are there even nick girls at the moment? I feel like the only two who have a show on Nick are Ariana and Jennette.
Ariana did. Keke left Nick, but would have. Jamie Lynn was HUGE until she got pregnant. I don't know who else is still on that channel tbh. I don't watch.
