Butter tastes better and is healthier...
But I still use margarine, because it's soft enough to smear it on bread even if you literally just took it out of the fridge. I'm too lazy to take the time for butter.

Both tbh, my mom buys butter and my grandma buys margarine so whichever happens to be in the house and already open I'll use.
