I'm surprised at how big a touring force Gaga had become in such a short amount of time in her career

Our touring ladies people. Putting on the shows that make people come back more and more.

Hopefully Gaga can strike three in a row with this tour. I pray she adds more dates, especially for NYC, so I can go.

Not to discredit P!nk at all as she is one of the greatest performers alive, but the Funhouse tour had 185 dates and still only made it to #10. She improved so much with TTAL tour though

She should raise the ticket prices next time though, she already did that with TTAL i think, but if the average was 100$ she could have hit 200m with TTAL, considering she sold over 2 million tickets

^ I think she should raise her prices as well. She's one of the extreme few that's actually worth that kind of money.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Blond Ambition has a $112m gross if inflated to 2014 according to the inflation calculator and wiki. However, it did so in less than 60 shoes so is impressive nonetheless.

weird how the money is so low in the first few tours.. for the who's that girl tour (her SECOND tour) the average attendance for all 30 shows was over 40,000 people. in france she even broke a record (which she still holds) and played for over 130,000 people! all stadiums. I think BAT had mostly stadiums as well. all filled too.. same for the girlie show.. tours just really didn't gross that well then. but the amount of people buying a ticket is comparable to U2 and M herself for her sticky & sweet and MDNA shows. it's amazing

I would imagine average ticket prices would be less than half (with inflation) of what she charges now if so.

P!nk should certainly raise her prices she's worth it

I feel she should do it so she can raise the production level of the show. The Truth About Love Tour was my first P!nk concert and I was blown away both times I went.

You have to remember tours were for the promotion of records.
