It was glorious listening to the leak as it was the first glimpse at ARTPOP material and I still love the album track but the demo was definitely superior.
I feel like Gaga just changed the vocals because she feared her fans would be bored because they'd heard the track 3 months before release. She should've kept it the same but cleaned and mastered the vocals in my opinion.
Overall I really do. It's the kind of sound I thought she'd deliver on ARTPOP. It's really underrated by the fans and it's her best chorus since Bad Romance.
Yes! That guitar intro... the robotic bridge... I prefer the demo, but the album version is pretty good too. I'm still unsure why she scrapped the original vocals on the first verse, they might have been a bit cloudier sounding, but they had such power behind them.
