HI! I'm new to atrl! I produce instrumental music and write lyrics as a hobby!
I use FL studios!
Pretty (incomplete) : (You've gotta wait until the chorus kicks in )
I'm currently working with a music company in asia where i keep in contact with the producers and he just gives me feedback, while I study at University in Australia
The first one is okay, but that second one... HAWT DAMN! That is a #1 Oricon ballad if I ever heard one!
1. It was good. I'm not the production guru, but it felt a little sleepy. I know it's the style, but it sounds more fitting with an artist than as a stand-alone track.
2. I love the build-up, and overall this was amazing. I just wish you used a hard-hitting snare instead of the clap, because that would've taken it to the nxt lvl!
3. I luvs me a dance trak! But, this needed something. A breakdown more epic or some kind of beat flip. I still like it!
I hope I'm not being too harsh... I'm just stating my opinion as a fellow production ATRLer...
Thanks for the feedback!
Yeah these are all just instrumentals intended for someone to record vocal over so that's why they're a bit boring on their own
I haven't been uploading much since my program quit on me (after I updated my computer)... these are older beats I'm planning on using for my next project.

LOL thank you!!
Yeh the first one is quite old... the 2nd one is my latest work and I'll be recording the vocals over it really soon What's an oricon ballad?

I'm getting a krary pamyu feeling from all your tracks LOL. Is that the feeling you were trying to go towards? I think it sounds pretty good! The third one however sounds like an in game music. Reminds me kind of maple story... Overall it's pretty impressive

Oricon is the Japanese equivalent of Billboard. It sounds so much like a possible hit J-Pop ballad, and I know how crazy they get over ballads.

OMG, don't say that. You're gonna make me cry. You don't know how long I've been trying to get Yasutaka's style on lock. It really sounds like that!?
Thank you! And about the game music thing, another dream of mine! Dood, you might end up being my best friend!
I'm a producer, and I'm looking for a good vocal producer, I've got a demo recorded with a friend of mine but I'm absolutely horrid at vocal producing.
I'm a producer (relatively new), and I never learned how to produce vocals (add filters and stuff)
Can one of you producing prodigies give me some advice please?
Just for a standard track, like what filters do I need on?

Filters? Usually I just equalize and compress the hello out of them! I think that's what you mean but even then I don't know how standard you're talking about. I usually let my ear tell me how much is too much and when it's perfect.

By standard I just mean like a vocal track with no special effects done on the vocals. Like how do I get the quality to sound like this

That does have studio effects on it though. Compressing, equalizing, added reverb...
I think you mean you just want vocals that sound plain but still that good in which case you would probably want to utilize all the plug-ins I mentioned above. Before you record, turn the compressor off (I think? I'm not a an expert) and lower the volume on the track. However, you would also need to have a good microphone...

I wish I knew how to do all of that.
I finished something() last night from a beat I made a few weeks ago. Most of the lyrics I made up on the spot sgdgfgd.

It's just using the compressor and equalizer you're usually given in the program you have… Most programs have that… Then, it's all about making it equal in sound that way they don't filter out each other or clip each other… I don't know which program you use, but I'm sure it has it…

I use Logic, I'm pretty sure it compresses automatically. Not TOO sure about anything else.
