Y'all should have a thread where gifs, smilies and incorrect grammar are inherently banned and see if the members are still able to converse and be as humorous and quick-witted as they often are.

There's no need for this thread. Random Thoughts is exactly what this thread is potentially trying to accomplish; if you don't like using .gifs, smilies, or ATRL lingo then don't use them/it.
