So she's top 10 on the YEC for billboard? Isn't their year November-November? Can someone clarify if these sales will count for 2013 or 2014?
I want her to have the #1 album for next year
oh and if anybody is really stupid, I'm talking about BEYONCÉ

Dark Horse should continue to carry the sales up to 1.3-1.4k. I am totally excited to see where this number goes one year later.

The only reason she is selling well is because of the new strategy they used for this new album. Any major artist could have done this strategy and experience the same level of success, if not more. I doubt Beyonce would have done as well had it undergone the typical promo-before-release. The way it was released unexpectedly served as a promo, and it did wonders for her, as it would have done for any other artist who could have released unexpectedly. That being said, Beyonce deserves the success its been getting because it is a strong album. DIL will slay, that's for sure.

Statements like these are so silly to me. There's no way you could know that. For the life of me, I can't imagine what felt like the whole world stopping and tweeting if "Katy Perry" or "Miley Cyrus" dropped an album out of the blue.
This could've worked for a very very select few. Major artists like Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Miley etc, are struggling to show numbers like these even when their albums are discounted for like 3.99-5.99. ****, they didn't manage to sell what Beyonce sold in her third week, when the hype already died down and people were able to purchase just singles. You are just trying to discredit Beyonce's success based on nothing tbh.

Oh.
The fact is... Beyoncé is the FIRST to do it. No major artist tried to do it before her. Secondly, everyone thought it would semi-flop, now with the success, the success was "expected." Ok.

I don't completely agree.
I think SOME artists could have pulled it off..... but not many.

Everything you're saying is your opinion. All the professionals (including Billboard) have said differently. Remain stressed and pressed.

True, except very few if any can do it higher. It all has to do with who Beyonce is and people sort of bought based on that thinking the album would be goo plus a majority of people who would've never bought a Beyonce album probably did so hearing all that social media talk and wanting to hear it themselves( and the only way they could was by buying it ).
Also the complexity of the release made sales to be divided among weeks coupled with holiday sales. If this was released normally momentum would've died down eventually from all these potential buyers(especially seeing as to how she's unable to obtain top 10 hits).
The real test for if the album will really do great will be this year and when normal promo is done....
