Hold up
Isn't it ironic how the Telephone video, the era of her peak, sequel had 'to be continued' at the end of it, but then since Alejandro, her star power has been declining?
Is her true comeback await?
IconicFlop is onto something?

she needs to swallow her pride and ego and realize that she simply was not the sole person responsible for her original successes, and that she won't be able to recreate them without help. she owes most of the successes from her golden age to collaborators like troy carter, rob fusari, boomkack, redone, dada, nicola formichetti, et cetera... cowriters, producers, stylists, directors. She took this "Lady Gaga" character they constructed for her and ran it into the ground. she's a frankenstein creation that simply went horribly awry. These new people she's working with are CLEARLY amateurs, and it's making her look like she has no idea what she's doing.

Umm... no. Not the "cowriters," when most of them have confirmed that their input in songwriting was very minimal & that she needs no help with writing a hit.
Also, her success may owe some credit to those collaborators, but "Gaga" has always been self-constructed and in-control.

She has painted herself into a corner that she cant get out of. At the end of this decade she will be nothing more than a footnote in music history.

grimmicks dont give you monster hits like Poker Face, Bad Romance, Just Dance and 25M albums sold
and yes, if she realises that no one is here for art, then maybe she will recover

Some of you gwerls must be confused. Once ARTPOP has come to its conclusion, Gaga is going to come back with an album that will slay the masses, and have the other pop girls SHAKING with fear. This is all just apart of the Paparazzi music video prophecy. She's going to experience the "decay of the blonde popstar" and then come out on top, loved again by entire world once again

She just needs that one big catchy pop song again. Nothing on ARTPOP was a clear hit. Venus' chorus gave me hope that she still has it in her. She just needs to stop over-experimenting stuff in her songs.

It would be ridiculous to expect each era to be like TF/TFM. Even in her supposed "flop" era, she still got 2 top-ten hits, plus another moderate hit with "DWUW," is expected to have a huge tour in 2014, and outsold the new "it" girls, Miley and Lorde, with less promo. And she's still more discussed and more relevant than some pop girls who are supposedly at their peak. I'll admit that musically, ARTPOP was a bit of a misstep, but as long as she is able to write killer hooks, she will always have to potential to completely dominate.

This SO MUCH. Gaga is fine. She is not doing the best she ever has, but she is doing the same as her contemporaries, more or less. She definitely is able to be 'the it girl' once more.

She could. I learned to never doubt after what happened with Miley. Almost everyone thought that its over for her after her huge success with Hannah Montana. If you'd ask someone, could Miley be as famous and successful as she was with HM in the future they'd probably laugh you off. But then she went for a 3 years hiatus and BAM! In short amount of time she revived her career and came back more successful and famous than ever before.

At this stage in her career, this is the time she needs to decide.... Does she WANT the success aka go back to the fluffy techno pop that made her a massive success, or keep doing this "art" focus, and make the music that she seems to like and is created by her......
If she chooses option 1, there MAY be hope for a huge revival, but again, she alienated a LOT of her audience with Born This Way....
If she wants to stick to her so called "art" projects and music, then her time here as relevant is over. It's as simple as that.
In the end, she should do what makes HER happy. Make music that she generally feels connected too, or go back to the pop basics, and create songs that will only please the general public. Something tells me her record label is snatching her "art" ideas and putting them on hold for the time being.
