Ohhhh.... This is basically the American version of the hit reality tv show in England called BBC DanceX which gave the world an awesome 5 piece, Pulse. And now it's set to premiere on ABC next week I believe. Most likely in time to try and steal American Idol Season 7's thunder.
In other words, it's really America's Next Pop Singing/Dancing Group!
The premise:
Tonioli and Inaba will choose contestants who can both dance and sing to join their respective teams. They will then teach them new routines from numerous dance styles. Once the teams start performing, home viewers will have the opportunity to vote which team did better each week. The losing coach will then have to eliminate a member of their troupe.
