Jimmy Parr, who's worked with Carly, oversaw the recording and since he's friends with Carly and his studio is under construction, he asked for the You're So Vain singer to let him in into her home to record the feature

Wow! That's really cool! "You're So Vain" is timeless. A collaboration with Carly on Christina's next album would be amazing.

Mastering has nothing to do with it. Its the 'mixing' process that makes the difference. And a good microphone.

Doesn't the mastering help eliminate all extra noises?
