Klaxons to perform with Rihanna at the Brit Awards
The one-off collaboration occurs on Wednesday (February 20)
Klaxons have revealed that they are teaming up with Rihanna for a special one-off performance at the Brit Awards.
The band will back the star on a version of her 2007 Number One hit ‘Umbrella’ at the awards show on Wednesday (February 20) at London's Earls Court venue.
However, it seems that Rihanna's management have been very specific about how Klaxons should play on the night.
Talking to BBC Radio 1, the band said: “It’s been a bit of a funny one because she’s in America and we’re over here. They’ve got this funny idea of what our band sounds like and we’ve done three or four different versions.
“We’ve made our own slant on a contemporary version of it. It’s an electronic version with guitars on it, with a twist of ‘Golden Skans’.”
Klaxons are nominated for two Brits: the Best Live Act and Breakthrough Act awards

In the big commercial charts it only went top 10 in New Zealand & The US hardly anywhere else I still really like HTILY should have stayed as an album song but I guess if it never got released I'd be wishing it had
