Unconditionally was a smash everyone waiting to happen. Unfortunately, it did not take off. Gypsy currently enjoys the same smash-waiting-to-happen view. Will it suffer the same fate as Unconditionally or do well and become Gaga's biggest hit in her ArtPop era?
Well, Gypsy is good, radio friendly and has mass appeal but at this point her era is too all over the place. If she gets her act together and treats it well in terms of promo and timing then it will smash.
Y'all are so dramatic. DWYW didn't smash cuz Gaga don't know what the hell she doin with it. Gypsy is by far the most radio friendly tune on the album, it's a safer version of TEOG, and it's even more safer than Applause considering the verses to Applause could have very well annihilated any chance of it being a hit and it didn't. Gaga just needs to promote the single proficiently, make a fantastic short and sweet video, RELEASE it two weeks after being sent to radio and it'll go top ten easily.
