Should 'Fan base threads' be in a unique and reserved section?

With all this new user traffic Base section is getting confusing with everybody bumping those 'Fan base threads'
When I go to Base section, Im looking for discussion an poll threads, not the entire first page full of 'Fan base threads'

Should this be separated?
