Again, with another substance-free, tired retort. Where is the video of Beyonce' having more range and power than Kelly? You can't be all argument if you can't show the evidence.

True range would mean the singer can cover a wide range of notes without ANY holes in the voice. True power is resonance, which means the singer creates sounds without tension. When Kelly belts the high notes, her voice becomes distended, raspy and scratchy...which means she sings with....TENSION.
You saying "Kelly has range and power" and posting vids of her screeching tiny G#s and As doesn't prove your point in the slightest. Range=/= high notes.
Beyonce, on the other hand, sings with resonance. The sound production is top-notch, the vocal line coordinated and the voice is free.
No holes in the voice, support and balance from lowest note to highest note, entire range connected
No lower voice, holes in the middle and higher registers, very unbalanced output of sound in each register, the higher she gets the more tense the voice becomes
And thru that whole bridge she's being drowned out by the band. Mos def not as pinto.
Yes, that performance was a bit shouty, she was like that sometimes back then. But that was 10 years ago, look at some recent receipts…like the videos I posted.
Provide a recent receipt, then we'll be more inclined to actually pay attention to your comments as having some weight behind them.
I don't need to. You already did it for me *points to Kelly C5-A5 video*
But why bother? I'll point it out and you'll just say "No! She has power and range and her voice is amazing and working well and it's in the best shape of her life cos she has never belted so many high notes before". Because according to you, that's what vocal health is all about: high notes. And you don't have the knowledge to even support your claims or hear what's actually going on, hence your "Kelly is a spinto" nonsense.

Yes, that was a throaty performance, and it was also 11 years ago.

She completely dodges the high F at the end of the second verse.

She's had resonant notes higher than an F5. And if you followed Kelly at all, you'd know that sometimes she artistically applies a raspy sound that identify as being forced. That's a fact, when it comes to Kelly's artistic choices, I am a lot more credible than you. And you have absolutely no knowledge on that matter whatsoever.
"Plagued with problems"? You just sound biased against her at this point
Ask me if I care.

3:10-3:15- She's not singing in the center of the pitch at ALL. As soon as her voice picks up in volume and in pitch, it gets scratchy.
3:32-3:43- See second sentence above.
3:44-3:51- See above.
3:52-4:03- Almost completely out of tune and full of tension.

LMAOOOOOO. The kind of rasp Kelly has/"applies" results in her singing outside the center of the pitch and makes her entire range unbalanced in terms of clarity, ease, sound output and intonation and you're here talking about it being an "artistic" choice? LMAO.
If it was a choice for Kelly, the vowels would be rounded, the quality of the middle would be present in the upper part of the voice. With her, the voice is squeezed and there's a HUGE change when she enters the higher register to belt.
Beyoncé just keeps getting better, which I feel is kinda weird. Mariah did, what, 10 shows in 1996 and her voice suffered a lot from that. Mrs Carter did more than 100 shows this year, and her voice is stronger than ever
