So I'm playing the game for the first time and in the fourth chapter or whatever.. anyway which monsters should I capture and level up?

I don't want to invest all the CP on ones and they end up useless late in the game

Get the Behemoth and regular Chocobo

I don't remember the name but it looks like a robot and it heals you. I think it has a siren on top of it.

I think it's called Flanitor. That's the monster that I ended up taking into the last battle so yeah make sure you get it!

Well sis a quick google search says Flanitor is Augusta Tower 300AF.

yes! king Flanitor. also I think there are different versions. the one in the later chapters is more effective.

oh I think Bucaboo is a really good ravager too. if he is leveled up sufficiently he can do major damage and get your enemy to stagger really quick . also when his feral link is activated you can use "batter up" where he unleashes a large number of attacks that basically will put your enemy in stagger or very close. it even worked when I battled Caius.

Congrats! It is a really fun game.. glad you are enjoying it. I'm about to head back into it too. Platinum is no problem here!

Be sure to try some of the DLC when you can. All of them are wonderful (aside from the Lightning you get from Requiem. OP to the max).

Don't die while trying, but Behemoth as a Commando is the way to go. I forgot what I had for a Ravager and the others, but Behemoth is pretty much God so...



EDIT: Flanitor as a Medic is also the way to go...

I had cait sith as my medic from start to finish.

then I started to use/need chocobos when I needed to defeat yomi or raspatil

Ahhh I remember I used this formula and it helped make the game easy. Try this!

level a mad frog to level 19
level a tonberry to 24 and infuse to mad frog
level a nyaomao to 23 and infuse to mad frog
level a moblin center to level 40 and infuse to mad frog
level a green chocobo to level 48 and infuse to mad frog
level a nekomata to level 54 and infuse to mad frog.

then infuse the mad frog to the maxed out kichu

PS the red chocobo comes in handy if you wanna try and get it finding it is really based on luck on patience however I found it within the first hour so give it a shot if you wanna just have it

TBH I pretty much just beat this game with COM-COM-COM 95% of the time.

Requiem of the Goddess Lightning is so incredibly strong. She can one shot those behemoths when they are supposed to be one hit kill you. The game breaking is all too real.

Anyway, I finished the game last night but had to change the difficulty to easy for the last boss because I was about give up even though I felt pretty good leveled..

now let me trophy hunt



i think I'll get her DLC, because those red behemoths are a damned mess
