Probably unfair, but I'm still thinking the original with R. Kelly will get its past peak as highest position. Then Christina Aguilera will be only credited if the song outpeaks the original, because she was the one who helped to boost the song more than R. Kelly. R. Kelly only helped to get #16 as highest rank.
It's like Rihanna's case, when she got her 10th #1 sinlge. It wasn't the original, the original S&M peaked at #2, but the S&M (Rihmix) was able to get the top
