2014 New Year's Eve Party and Awards Ceremony
George G Performance
*A live band began to play to a very upbeat Pop-Rock tune, the production of ‘No Last Name’ and George stood with a microphone stand. Behind the band was a screen with the words ‘NO LAST NAME’ printed all over the screen in various neon colors. George clapped his hands and jumped up to the beat and smiling. He wore maroon jeans, a blue/grey striped shirt over a black, unzipped sweater. He had a rainbow keychain hanging from his fingers as well as some earplugs hanging off his jeans*
“This is ‘No Last Name’ — let’s go!”
*He began to sing the first verse in a very poppy, sing-rap type of fashion serving Ke$ha meets Avril Lavigne vocals. When he sang the second line, implying action with a middle finger he stuck his up for two seconds with the finger getting censored on perfect timing. He slid his hands down the microphone stand, entering the chorus*
“You guys ready?!?!”
*The microphone stand got kicked down as the explosive rocking chorus entered and the “la”s and “oh”s were shouted in a perfect manner, matching the studio version of the song. George jumped all over the staging, laughing a bit just not taking the performance too seriously and trying not to get nervous but to rather have fun with performance. He went towards the drummer on the second verse and got some drumsticks, banging on the snare and hitting the bass as accurately as possible. He rocked out with the guitar player right after, giving him a nice pat on the back to return to the middle of the stage. Movement around the second chorus was consistent, and the energy was just sparkling all over the stage and into the atmosphere as many CAL artists were having a ball*
*For the bridge, a rather more electronic and deteriorated beat was assembled as George used his head voice to reach notes, hitting them sharper and better than his previous performance. The screen began to rise up as George ran towards it, revealing a wide and high staircase. Dancers were lined down, all dressed in black-blue-grey-red clothing, doing a very pumped up routine as George ran fast to reach the top. He took out a can of Coca Cola, as he began to sing his upcoming single ‘Teenage Rebel / Bring the Noise’ off his double album which will be released next week*
“I’m $17 broke, sipping on a can of Coke.
I’mma take my ****, and go.
But I ain’t gonna go, back home.”
*He took a sip from the can, repeating those opening lines to the track. A nice guitar strummed very soft, plucking to the melody of the song as George delivered half-ghost vocals while looking half-wasted, although that’s very impossible since he’s drinking Cola and underage. A popping loud and rhythmic beat started playing as he started semi-rapping lyrics using the “s”-word and “f”-word several times in the lines. The subject was being somewhat of an outsider, a bit of a psycho — but starting trends and being rebellious. He would reach the chorus where he repeated the lines*
“I am a teenage, r-r-r-rebel…”
*He got up from the couch at the top of the staircase and took off his unzipped hoodie. He threw the keys away and placed his earplugs in his ears*
“I bring the noise, bitch!”
*The ‘Bring the Noise’ portion of the track started with a line once again referencing the soda Coca Cola and discussing basic people. He then went on to sing some very short/cut-off words about music and an electronic build-up began happening. He moved down the stairs, stopping at the middle*
“Bring the noise, bring the noise — hit it!”
*A huge electronic breakdown began and he started performing choreography with his dancers. The floor and back wall of the stage projected with many different neon lights flashing abruptly. He went on to full-out belt a second verse to the dance track and performed more choreography as the colors throbbed a bit less frequent with the choreography being simpler and George loosening up a bit in the spotlight. He sung the lyrics with a sharper, captivating tone definitely improving from the EMAs performance vocally. A huge electronic beat lead by a guitar began to fade the performance out as the lights dimmed and George began giggling*
“Teen… age… re… bel…
Ha ha…
I bring the noise, bitch!”
The performance was about six minutes long, ending with a round of applause and George smiling, shouting “Thank you so much! And happy new year everyone!"
Next up... Award for Best Urban Song

These votes are rather funny, though. One person is SWEEPING, but then the most random picks are for some other things, because in some categories, everyone voted for a different person except for two people.

Best Urban Song
Considered an underground genre, despite massive success, by the Top 40 lovers and pop junkies, urban, or R&B music, has always been a giant part of pop culture. Bouncing drums, smooth flows and menacing bass lines always seem to accompany it, along with countless features and collaborations.
An increasing genre in Create a Label, it was only fitting to have a Best Urban Song category this time around.
The nominees for Best Urban Song are...
Eric Saade - "Can't Please Everybody"
Céline Dion - "Ratchette (feat. Barbara Streisand)"
Junglepussy - "Tell 'Em"
Neon Hitch - "Dolla Dolla"
Justin Bieber - "I Feel It (Holiday Spirit)"
Scroll down to see who won...
Céline Dion - "Ratchette (feat. Barbara Streisand)"
Fueled by a massive controversy regarding Streisand's death, "Ratchette" reached #1 earlier this week. It would only be time until the massive, urban song received an award!
Congratulations, Céline, and rest in peace, Barbara!
Up next, rabbit duo SugarNSpice take the stage...

2014 New Year's Eve Party and Awards Ceremony
The performance began with the stage being completely dark, as a screen onstage turned on. It showed the final teaser that was uploaded onto SNS's VEVO for a minute, before stopping. A few smoke emitters turned on, giving the stage a mysterious feel Slowly, two stage lights shone on top of the recently added stairs, showing the girls, wearing their fluff . They had micrphone headset things, for their singing, and they began to hauntingly sing the intro of their song.
Oooo wah oooo,
Snaaaatch your weeeave
Oooo wah oooo,
Snaaatch your weeeave!
Natalie ran down the stairs quickly, jumping right in to the first verse as the instrumental started, with a drag towards one hit wonder duo, Icona Pop. Lexie caught up to her, singing her part, this time mentioning Karmin, before they started singing the chorus/intro at the end of the stage. On the screens above them, it projected a lot of lights into the crowd, impressing some Natalie led the second verse again, doing ha minimal choreo while Lexie did the back up vocals/things, They sang the chorus again twice, while each girl ran up to a female mannequin, oddly with raven weaves, and as they sang "Snaatch your weave!" they both RIPPED the weaves off of the mannequins, before running onto the stairs. The stage lights shown on the two once more, as Natalie (and Lexie) sang the bridge.
I ain't saying, we're the best.
But we sure are better than all the rest,
I'm not trying to get you hoes pressed,
Just a little truth, is that too much of a mess?
Lexie continued the bridge with her wonderful squeaking vocals ( ), mentioning Karmin once more, this time shading their record label, before Natalie did a impersonation of her mother yelling at L.A Reid. Lexie then proceeded to kii at this, but Natalie, revealing her sensitivity and stupidity, cried a bit thinking Lexie was laughing at her. Lexie got noisy too due to her fear, but the two stopped just in time for them to sing the chorus one last time. At the end, the lights onscreen *exploded*, and the girls left the stage.
