Maybe. I see her discovering the inconvient truth her team tried to hide from her.
She might learn a good lesson from it and makes music that actually makes sense and is enjoyable. I have listened to an Artpop leak and didn't expected it to be bubblegum pop. I see people saying "EDM", it's way too bland, empty, unenjoyable in comparison to good electronic music (Especially in comparison to the 30+ years history of Belgium in electronic music.). Some say it's harsh, loud, noise, but I can't find sufficient harshness, loudness, noises to be enjoyed like metal.
She ended up in the void between the genres. It's just emptiness, she doesn't have a sense for musicality.
This era she is like someone trying to spiced up an essay by adding difficult words from a dictionary. Difficult words makes it look heavier, more imposant, but those who can understand it, can see if there isn't any real message or point behind it and we all knew how the rock/alternative critics dragged her for emptiness behind the facade.
