Discussion: Rejection... How do you deal with it?

Honestly, not to sound cocky or anything, but I've never been rejected before. Actually I've never put myself in a situation to be rejected until recently. I don't really approach guys. I make them come to me, but I finally stepped outside of my comfort zone and I don't know if it's actually going to pay off.

How do you deal with this ****? What are your stories of rejection? Why is finding companionship so hard?

Exactly! The thing is, all the guys that have been coming to me lately aren't what I'm looking for or up to my standards so I decided to go out on a limb and take matters into my own hands and bitch I feel dumb as **** because it seems like he's paying me complete dust

I don't usually ask first because I'm very (very) shy, so usually the other person initiates the conversation or whatever. Unless we're talking about sex. In that case, I ain't too proud to beg.

I just get sad for a bit but rebuild myself by reminding myself it isn't the end of the world. I also treat myself to something whether it be writing/creating music, taking long dries, working out, eating etc...And when you get rejected it just opens the door for other people who are more of a right fit to come into your life

It's just so hard. I'm sitting here wondering why. Is something wrong with me? Did I do something wrong? I mean...

. The ****'s really bothering me. It may be because I'm spoiled in a sense because I'm used to getting what I want.

Before I used to cry and listen to music.

But now I'm so used to being rejected that I don't go in expecting to succeed. And when I don't I just get disappointed in myself and move along and use that as motivation to make myself attractive.

I've never been rejected but I guess you can't say I put myself out there. I have rejected others before though. I feel like **** everytime I do.

(Not trying to sound egotistic here, I'm sure I'd be rejected my fair share if I put myself out there)

Just pick yourself up and move to the next guy. Don't act like the dude you want is the only guy for you. The are like a million more guys. Try out some of the new undiscovered stock, it dulls and cures the pain left by the ones that rejected you.
