Well it makes sense with the song, but I'm not a fan of its inclusion really. Like, it's definitely not vacuous but maybe slightly tactless. I'd rather she took some audio from a movie or something to convey the metaphor rather than an event where people actually died.
At the same time, maybe this disaster had a lasting effect on her. In which case, it's a personal inclusion. It's her art and the album is about her

So I'm not going to say she shouldn't have used it.
