Put yourself in that position.
Imagine the script was flipped and everyone was going around saying,
"Oh, I'm just not into White people."
Imagine that the only thing keeping your from having a chance with another person is something that's a part of your identity that you can't change about yourself (that you don't actually need to change about yourself).
Imagine that you're already struggling with your identity because this thing is something that you've been told is wrong, or abnormal or ugly.
Wouldn't you feel hurt?
Wouldn't you feel discriminated against?
