I remember Lynne said that initially her team and Max Martin sent her to vocal training to completely re-do her singing technique so it would fit the mainstream teen pop sound.
I feel like all of Gags ha supposedly iconic hits like Poker Face and Bad Romance are completely forgotten now after what she's done with her career. I just don't imagine people using her anymore, whether it's new or old stuff.
The fact that ARTPOP won't outsell MDNA with a holidays release, tons of promo, a hit etc.
Even most of the Madonna stans assumed ARTPOP would outsell MDNE with ease (well before Flopplause). I guess the Super Bowl and album/ticket deal sold the album even without a hit. Looking back, I think she should have saved Celebration for 2012, it would have worked better considering the 30-year anniversary of her career and the SB.

Britney was basically forced to use the nasally voice and it ruined her vocally a lot. Oh well. Too late to do anything about it now.

I guess I'm just used to auto tuned sex kitten vocals for her dance songs so when she attempts a lil ad lib here and there it sounds out of place.

No Celebration wouldn't have been a hit had it been released in 2012. MDNA was overall a bad album, but it could have been saved by GMAYL/Masterpiece/I'm Addicted as the main singles. I won't complain about Promo cause she never needed it, the material was weak.

A GH album with I'm Addickted (2 Brahim)/Love Spent/Falling Free/I'm A Sinner/Masterpiece and MAYBE Turn Down The Gaydio as a seperate EP? That would have been great.

William Orbit said she barely spent time in the studio while making it. She wrote some of the lyrics in her car, recorded the vocals as fast as she can and left the producers do the whole work on their own. I remember him saying his work with C.Brown was much better. Lol anyway she's gonna flop hard if she doesn't fix things up next era.
