Alright, so I got a few others lined up. These are my favorites because:
1) They are mellow. I am not about the dance music or dub-step stuff so much(I am prone to start getting paranoid, haha) So, I generally enjoy slower tempo and highly lyrical music. Also, heavy bass (again, not dubstep) is nice (more chill-wave)
2) I like to think while I am in the zone. Otherwise, I feel like I am being lazy.
But, anyway, here are a few more:
Lana Del Rey -- "
Pawn Shop Blues"
LIGHTS -- "
Cactus in the Valley"
James Blake-- "
Retrograde"
Purity Ring -- "
Fineshrine"
Rilo Kiley -- "
A Better Son, Daughter"
Soley -- "
Pretty Face"
Jesse Ware -- "
Wildest Moments"
Daughter -- "
Run"
Charli XCX -- "
Stay Away"
AlunaGeorge -- "
Your Drums, Your Love"
Cold Specks -- "
Holland" (Bonus points for the BEAUTIFUL dichotomy video!)
Now, this last one is very special. I'm sure you've heard of Radical Face's song, "Welcome Home", but DO NOT stop there. His whole album flows together absolutely beautifully. Each one is beautiful and unique and...amazing. It is like Pink Floyd -- you want to listen to it all to get the full experience.
Radical Face -- "
Welcome Home"
This is a pop music forum, and I get that. This is where I get my pop music from, but the vast majority of my music is more alternative slanted. Not for everyone, but I can guarantee you that if you give any one of this songs a change, especially under "certain circumstances", you'll appreciate it in one way or another!
