FILM: Frozen
This song is really adorable and even though I love Idina, I actually prefer this a biT over her version.
NINE.
FILM: The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Such a dark, twisted version of a classic song.. it's very short but when it ends you'll be left speechless from what you just experienced.
EIGHT.
FILM: The Great Gatsby
This slays. The beat is so cute and addicting while his voice haunts you through the lyrics. I actually like this better than Somebody I Used To Know. But waiT, this is a 6-year-old song?!?
SEVEN.
FILM: The Smurfs 2
Say what you want about it, this is a really adorable bop. I mean, the beat and all just come together for a really nice track.
SIX.
FILM: The Great Gatsby
I really love this. So fun, funky and modernized while still holding its old-fashioned roots. The featured singer sounds so much like Britney, though.
FIVE.
FILM: The Great Gatsby
Her voice is just... The emotions are just... Especially as the song continues on, it gets even better.
FOUR.
FILM: The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Very beautiful. Am I the only one that gets chills when the chorus comes? "Every single time the wind blows..." >>>
THREE.
FILM: One Chance
Even though it was made for what is soon-to-be a flop film, this track is absolutely precious. It's a very nice, throwback song that makes you want to just get up, dance and live.
TWO.
FILM: The Great Gatsby
It was hard for me not to put this at #1, but #2 isn't bad, either. This is just a genius song. The production is so wonderfully diverse, Fergie sounds amazing and you can just feel the rhythm and energy that makes you feel like you're at Gatsby's party yourself.
ONE.
FILM: The Great Gatsby
This is absolute magic.. there's no way you can really deny that. Plus, after you see the film and notice how beautifully it was used in the movie, you'll love it even more. An absolutely charming piece.
22. Yours Truly Released: September 9th, 2013 Plays: 56 Grade: B Mini Review: This is a nice debut album, but I kinda got over it quickly. I wasn't really into the whole throwback theme going on this year (as you can see with #21 as well,) so this got affected by that. It's still a solid album with no filler, but only about half of the album is really worth putting on repeat as well as remembering as a whole. I definitely preferred her poppier, Victorious side than this, but I'm not at all surprised that she went in this musical direction.
Top 5: 5. Tattooed Heart | 4. Piano | 3. Almost Is Never Enough | 2. The Way | 1. Honeymoon Avenue
21. The 20/20 Experience Released: March 15th, 2013 Plays: 69 Grade: B Mini Review: This was a nice album and significantly better than the 2nd part, but not necessarily worth the wait. A lot of the interludes were very long and caused the album to drag on. The songs have little replay value besides the singles, Pusher Love Girl and Don't Hold The Wall (basically the only songs where the long durations worked for them.) Luckily there are no fillers besides the bland bonus tracks, but I would've preferred FutureSex/LoveSounds - 2 of 3.
Top 5: 5. Suit & Tie | 4. Blue Ocean Floor | 3. Pusher Love Girl | 2. Mirrors | 1. Don't Hold The Wall Discography Rank: FutureSex/LoveSounds > 20/20 - 1 of 2 > 20/20 - 2 of 2 > Justified
Finishing off the 6th day is someone who performed at this years Superbowl halftime show. To relive the memories, here's that artist, as long as some nostalgic special guests!...
Heart's A Mess is incredibly. That song is so touching, brings me to tears every time.
We Remain, Sweeter Than Fiction, Young & Beautiful
As for the albums, agree with Ariana and I still have not heard JT's albums in full - because, like you said, they just drag on way too long with these interludes.
