Either way, Danity kane had one real radio hit and one more top 10 hit due to repressed digital sales.

It's not like they achieved more than a handful of hit songs.
Neither seem destined for half of what they had before so hopefully they get their money either way.
Aubrey...I loved during the mtv thing. I liked but lost respect during the celebrity apprentice thing and her shots at this girl are just a little too early in this "comeback" trail.

The live finale but also in the episode where Diddy split them all up. Everyone was looking at Aubrey as she talked about Diddy being shady and recording with Dawn for Dirty Money without telling the rest of the girls, but then Dawn came out of nowhere and fly kicked the rest of the band by exposing them to Diddy. I actually thought Aubrey was right to stand up to Diddy like that, but Dawn was a shady bitch and won the battle

It's funny thinking that that was the last image we saw of DK. D.Forest and Aubrey (Ebony and Ivory) inseparable, Dawn and Aubrey at war and there was clearly some kind of awkwardness between Aubrey and Aundrea. How things change...

D. Woods was delusional while she was in the group. She tried to follow behind Aubrey and now look where she's at. Aubrey puts herself first, as she should. D. Woods didn't put herself first and she screwed herself. When Diddy first said he overreacted and that she wasn't out the group, she still got up and left. I feel that they could have continued on as a foursome or would have replaced Aubrey. Maybe Aubrey would have even been asked back. Then, at the reunion, D. Woods didn't show up. Aubrey led D. Woods to believe she wouldn't be there, so D. Woods didn't go, yet Aubrey showed up. Why TF would D. Woods put her future on the whims of Aubrey? D. Woods thought she would be able to take DK's success and run with it to a solo career, but she is sadly mistaken. Save for Dawn, I can't see any of them being solo. Dawn tried and it didn't work. They all need each other.

D seems to be doing good for herself, I mean, if she has a roof over her head and steady income, then she's not doing SO bad. If she's fulfilling her needs and desires artistically, which are things she couldn't do in DK, then good for ha. If she's making more money now than what she made in DK, then even better. I can see why she didn't wanna come back in the first place IF that's the case.



What's NOT helping her case is this backtracking, it makes her come off as bitter after she essentially brushed off the reunion for whatever reason she saw fit at that point in time.

I think Dawn could have done better commercially if she would have gave in and signed to a label. There was label interest there (she spoke of a deal being finalized late 2012)...but she wanted creative control. Glad she didn't ...b/c she wouldn't have gotten all that critical acclaim/reviews. Now when DK becomes successful, she has a nice setup...b/c she'll pocket a lot of the money made off Blackheart b/c she's indie.
