there's no reason The Fame Monster should be her peak - she's still the talented, insightful individual she was when she wrote it, she's just too egotistical right now to work with people that will deliver high-calibur, crowd-pleasing work

I agree. Although I don't need her old pals she used to work with. The thing is I want Gaga to move forward, and she should succeed with different things around her.
And I used to defend Gaga's ego. This was the era where I saw she got caught up into herself (ARTPOP WILL SNATCH WEAVES NEXT YEAR, ARTPOP 2013!).
She doesn't need to 'top' TFM era, but just be consistent. She's been stale this era and I feel like she's confused also. She was supposed to ditch the blonde? R Kelly feature? Fruity performances? This era isn't a full out flop, but she should pick herself up a bit.
So I'm not fully abandoning, but I'm tired of the scheisse yeah *oh oh oh ooh*. Maybe ARTPOP Vol. II would be my last straw tbh. I'll still use Sexxx Dreams in the meantime.
