Charli XCX Surprise performance at "AU" Nightclub

Charli XCX made a surprise appearance at New York City's "AU" Nightclub last night. For her surprise appearance she sang the album track "Set Me Free (Feel My Pain)" from her debut album "True Romance", as well as the non-album single "SuperLove" and her brand new single "XCX". For the performance she wore a black very short dress with metallic jewels over it and wearing metallic boots. The crowd didn't immediately recognize "Set Me Free" at first because it wasn't released as a single but they started appreciating it really fast which made Charli smile. She then moved on to "SuperLove" where she danced to it with the crowd. For the final performance, the performance of "XCX" Charli started jumping crazily before she did the actual choreography. The song is a true Club banger which immediately made everyone in the crowd like it who then bought the song immidiately after going home.

Do I have to PM my promo list to you as well Robbie

You're not supposed to PM it, you're supposed to post it in the thread, but these guys decided to PM it to me because Lily started a trend.
Lily only did it because she's not gonna be on a computer tonight.
But I kind of like it, because it makes it much more convenient to look at them rather than to hunt them down and keep track of who posted what.

Justin Bieber's Upcoming Album...Iconic?
Justin sat down with 102.1 KIIS.FM, and talked about his upcoming album. "I've worked more on this than ever, like driving myself crazy haha. I worked all night last night, that's why I took a break this week promoting my Christmas album. It's already passed it's standards so I needed time to do more things on this album".
What surprised us most is he said, "I want this album to be an iconic project. Justin Timberlake has done a 2 Part album, Beyonce has done a Visual album, etc. I need something to officially ground me as an artist -- all of my discography could be forgotten to the public in a decade. It's about grounding yourself with an album that impacts that public greatly, and catches their attention." he also talked more on the label again -- "they 100% support me on. They agree I need something to ground me, something legendary -- that's what's gonna break my own records".
Justin didn't spill on anything though saying, "I'm working on brilliant stuff - but that'll be for you to see when the album drops", he concluded -- as we went back to playing some of his songs on the radio.

Charli XCX talks album with Billboard

Charli XCX gave an exclusive interview for Billboard talking about her brand new album, which was announced to be revealed slowly on daily basis, one song at a time till the album is released.
Charli, you've announced that you are going to release one song song per day on Vevo which will be available for stream for only 24 hours, why did you choose to reveal the album this way?
Well I really want my fans to hear the album in full before thye buy it i want them to know what they are buying. I'm not one of those artists who overhype an album to the point that when you get to fully hear the album, you aren't satisfied with what you just listened to.
In the recent letter you've sent your fans, you say that you were collaborating with multiple artists, how are they collaborating? like production wise or do they write on the album or do they also appear vocally?
Well it depends. Like for example, the group Icona Pop is the main producer of the album but the aren't featured vocal wise on it. They also wrote on the album. Azealia Banks & Brooke Candy appear both writing wise and vocal wise and so does Natalia Kills.
Can you tell us a bit about the music video of the single? since you are releasing a new single each week the music video will probably be released this week, right?
Yes it's going to be released this week. "XCX" is a very club like song and the video too bu it does incorporate scenes that reflect the meaning of the song. Which is seducing wayyy too much guys to the point you stat meeting well... really bad ones and who end up rapping the girl that i play in the song.
The rest of the interview is available on Billboard.com . Charli XCX 's new single "XCX" was surprise released as single a few hours ago.

Paige Elliot Teases "Made of Stone" Video
Paige Elliot recently released a still from her upcoming music video for her newest single, "Made of Stone". The image displays Elliot in a garden before a mansion, confirmed to be her private estate in the outskirts of Paris, France, with the colors changed to display vivid pinks and magentas with everything else pale and cold.
"The video was shot in a special way", Elliot began, just outside her Paris home, describing the video, "It uses color infrared film... It's amazing, because Kodak technically discontinued color infrared film, so I had to act like a little brat and get my way. In the still there... That's how the film was shot. I made sure that the directors, Jonas Åkerlund and Terry Richardson, don't do anything to edit colors like that. So, the color in the still, is exactly how it was shot; that's how color infrared film woks. The video has a total dream-like state to it because of that, and it's really... Trippy. There's a lot of blurs and weird shots that you only see for a second, and you'll realize that despite the song being upbeat and the video seeming bright, there are so many dark, sinister undertones."
The video is set to release sometime next week, and the song is available on iTunes now, along with its parent album, 'Heaven/Hell'!

Charli XCX Performs at the "Sullivan Room"
Charli XCX appeared moments ago at Sullivan Room, a nightclub in NYC. She wore a red with white strips dress, similar to the one in the "SuperLove" music video. She started her performance by singing "I Love It" the Top 10 collaboration she had done with Icona Pop back in 2012 which was immediately recognized by everyone since it's a big hit. Every danced crazily and had a great time during this performance. She then performed a heavily choreographed performance of her current single, "XCX" which was released a few hours ago. The choreography included some dance moves with the dancers around the poles and with lasers all around the club pointing towards Charli and her dancers. To end the performance she played a Keytar during the complextro breakdown next to the DJ.
