It's upsetting that they can't appreciate and love their fave's effort today without having to bring up her efforts from 1999-2004.
THAT's the shade in it all. I don't know if they realize this or not.

There's nothing wrong with it. Many people cherish Michael from Thriller or Madonna from the 80's.
Personally, I think Britney's best music came after the meltdown when went full on electronica. Her best performances were in the 99-04 period but the actual songs are better now. I love
Britney Jean and I think she's trying to be her old self in the Vegas show but she's just not.
