What other choices were there? I would have died for b-sides Do You Dare, Closer and Say The word (I'll Be There) to be on the album. But for LGTI's ten tracks, there legit was nothing else as a lead.
Maybe Too Much of a Good thing? But that sounds like #20 if I've ever heard of one. (And dying that the Janet sample is still uncredited!)
Even Too Much of a Good Thing seems to have more potential tbh
And as it's been said, Finer Feelings, but Kylie has never released a ballad as a lead single anyway...
Oh, yeah, and the rumored version of Body Language (remember the tracks she was supposed to have done with Pharrell ten years ago? Y'all probably don't.) was actually fact.
I still want a half Xenomania/half Scissor Sisters album, btw. I felt that's where Ultimate Kylie was headed, if it had been an actual album. I mean, Loving You, White Diamond, I Know, Made of Glass, and IBIY >>>>> almost everything on X/Aphrodite. TRUTH.
Like a Drug would have made a great Dannii Minogue song.
In fact, X
The One, Sensitized, In My Arms, Heart Beat Rock, Cosmic, No More Rain - Kylie songs
All I See, Nudity, Like a Drug, Speakerphone - Dannii Minogue songs that her older sister is somehow singing.
Think about it. Then realize I'm right.
Nudity and All I See are embarrassingly terrible so I see where you're coming from. Speakerphone and Like A Drug are decent enough to keep myself from comparing them to Dannii. (minus Neon Nights then. Let's discuss how Body Language, even though it already is great, should ultimately have been Dannii's album/State Of Mind thrown in a blender.)

City Games!!!!
So it was true!?!? I knew it. That review someone posted about it sounded really promising. I wish she released that instead of Body Language.
Wait, I also read somewhere that Kylie planned on retiring after the Showgirl tour? Or that she was going to move to a more jazzy direction. That's true too, right?
The thing that annoys me most is the fact that Kylie was set up for one of the biggest comebacks ever after her illness. She basically had the public salivating for new material, her profile was so high, and she turns up with 2 Hearts. I still remember the day I first heard it and the wave of disappointment washing over.
X has some highlights though, it was just awfully managed.
2 Hearts was the comeback?
d well thank goodness for In My Armsus. Woo imagine if it was the lead
Kylie in Britney ripoff mode - terrible. (Like a Drug, Nudity)
Kylie in Madonna ripoff mode - tolerable. (No More Rain, Speakerphone)
Kylie in Janet ripoff mode? FANTASTIC - (Sensitized, All I See)
Also, I approve of Kylie getting her Gwen on. (Heart Beat Rock). I don't approve of Kylie in Goldfrapp land (Hello 2 Hearts!) or Kylie ripping herself off - WOW!
