It does feel weird without Beyonce in the Top 10... but "Drunk In Love" is comingggggg!!!

It's a known fact artists get paid more with tours & single sales than album sales. I'd really like her to slay the Top 10 & get a hit.

Having a platinum album in 10 days is great, but it's not a record. So yeah, I'd sacrifice her sales (just a little bit) for her to get a Top 10!

Beyonce gets a huge percentage of her album sales, there was an article recently from Forbes stating she receives 10$ for each album sold. She is her own management and production company.

Drunk In Love debuted at #12 this week, I could see it going top 10 in a few weeks if the sales pick back up

She's gonna sell 2 million plus in the US by the summer...both current singles aren't doing well on radio and the pop single is a ballad so its sales will catch up.

With Pretty Hurts and Mine being so well received and promo lined up she'll get to a 5th single and all will do fairly well.

Selling 4-5 million albums WW at 15.99 and about 10 million singles is much more impressive than 2 million albums at 11.99 and 30 million singles

$95 million >>>>>> $60 million

Beyonce has production and publishing credits on virtually all the songs on ALL her albums, so that right there gaurentees her incoming money...plus the royalty rate she receives from Sony as a recording artist. Her compensation bases are covered from every angle. I think it's safe to say that she makes a helluva lot more money on her album sales than someone with a hit single on a modest selling album.

Nope, because in this musical climate I feel like it's more difficult to sell lots of albums than it is singles and therefore BEYONCE's success is more impressive.

You're talking about a top 10 & then also worried that you won't get to hear Bey on the radio.

Both of her new singles are gaining significantly on radio and are among the greatest gainers daily. So you're actually getting what you asked for (hearing Beyoncé on the radio)

With her album being as successful as it was, she gained WAY MORE media coverage, critical acclaim, and cultural relevance than some top 10 hit would get her.

Since when did we start STANNING for our faves bank account anyways? Money is not a factor though, she is already worth 300million nobody cares how much more money she makes. It would be a bigger achievement for her to open up with 600k and a TOP 10! A HIT Song can do wonder's for a ALBUM.

DIL was currently top 10 on the singles chart on iTunes & 12 on the Urban / R&B chart on Billboard.
If they cross DIL over to top 40 and she actually performs the song it could do wonders and actually push the song.

Beyonce usually has a quota of having a minimum of 1 smash per album except for the album 4.
So, we still have this whole era to see if any song will stick with the GP & tbh, she hasn't promoted any of her songs yet.

I feel like this is a prank. You want to know if we will change all the records she broke and sales the album accumulated in only 10 days for ONE song in the top 10 of the BB Hot 100? That would be foolish. Of course no.
That'll be unintelligent.

Will it be good one of her songs to be a hit? Yes, because it will increase the album's sales. But if it doesn't, it won't be that bad because the album on itself has already sold considerably well.
