that's because politics is very rampant in country music
i mean Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton,etc are all shoved up on our throats by the radio but still cant scan platinum
while good country artists like Kacey Musgraves, Ashley Monroe, Kip Moore and Carrie Underwood are getting snubbed greatly. lol. but honestly, all the trucks,dirt road,girls in tight jeans topics on country music could've been shifted to wider song topics if only country radio ceases to focus on a handful of artists who are country hicks stereotype and actually focuses on what's good. oh well.
