I think it spent like two weeks sitting just outside the top 10. I believe that's the amount of weeks ARTPOP spent in the top 10.

I think this is only applicable to artists the GP actually embraced at one point or another. All JB ever had was the pre-teen girls who have moved on to 1D, and those don't come back once they've left.
Katy was like the new costume queen in 2011, and Adele showed people that no one really needs a costume queen, and it's been the downfall of Gaga since then.
