i didnt knew about them..... i am against these kind of things. Give one place the exclusivity is bad it makes the other feel minor and its bad for their buisness

You're not looking at it from the artists perspective.
Do you know how many millions Britney has lost because of piracy or Beyonce? This is their craft and their work, why should they have to deal with piracy if there is an option to decrease it? How can we battle the decreasing album sales?
Digital first week is an amazing idea to battle piracy that is caused A LOT OF TIMES by stockroom employees at Targets or other physical distributors.

they can battle piracy with other ways...
Beyonce is in a good route with what she did.. imo thats the solution u have to give people reasons to buy the album and not download it.. so beyonce put a bunch of videos... artist should also start working their albums like books, work the cover, the booklet everything, they should make it feel like buing the album is like having this little piece of art in your hands....
IMO britney shoud have give some vegas ticket with her cd..., like a lottery, a small number of lucky people would win a visit to her show, it would be a big deal and it would make people buy the album than just download it
