What a weird way to think...
The only time an era, isn't an era, is when the artist/record label pull the plug on the project. But if the artist continous to promote their work because they truly believe in it... it's an era. Some artists don't even have 1 successful single, so floppping singles has nothing to do with an artists state of mind or an album era.
