The last time I asked you girls if the ARTPOP era was already over everyone got into their feelings and got the thread closed. But this is a serious question - If DWUW flops what is Gaga's next move to continue the ARTPOP era?

Does she have a single that could be more commercially successful than DWUW? Or one that can breathe new life into the era? Because from what I've heard on ARTPOP DWUW was her most radio friendly single choice. What are her options?

If they add Xtina and it works no one will ever know if it was only for Xtina, so I think that it's a bad move, if they don't add Xtina it will probably flop, Idgi how she's pretending to go on tour with this record, this era should be scrapped asap for damage control and comeback with something simpler and more cohesive

I'm pretty sure it's done just fine so far and her next step would simply be moving to the next single. Y'all need to realize that a girl's career isn't over with one top 20 single that fails to reach the top ten. Otherwise where would Rihanna be? Or Katy? Or Beyonce? Or Britney? Every girl in the game has peaks and valleys and y'all do the MOST assuming the ARTPOP era is just dead because of DWUW not hitting the top 10.

Justin, who was 100x bigger than Gaga has been this era, his attempt at a part II continuation album didn't really do him any favors. She can try though.

Well, one more single (still waiting for that Telephone continuation?!) and then it's time for Volume 2, I guess. I doubt that she plans to release 4 or 5 singles from this album.

Um the difference between all of the girls you mentioned is that they have proven that they can come back out on top even after flopping or underperforming. Gaga hasn't really done that and her career is younger than all of those girls.

How has it underperformed when everybody who knows a bit about charts expected DWUW to flop? Applause flopped, only few people were delusional enough to think an R&B single with Gaga on it would slay in Europe.



Well, eras can recover easily. Katy Perry is also recovering from Unconditionally, which performed way worse. Unless Gaga releases J&D and Swine as third and fourth single, I cannot honestly see this era not ending with at least 5M WW.

I have a feeling that Sexxx Dreams can save this era,
even the haters marked it as one of the good songs on the album
