I thought that as well before because somehow a program called "BetterSurf" was installed on my computer without my knowledge and it keeps putting up ads and underlines words on the screen. The same happened to me when my mom used my computer. She must've installed some of that ****

Luckily I uninstalled it very easily.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me, but I just disabled pop-ups from ATRL.

I have Google Chrome too and the same thing happened to me for about a week before I decided to do something about it. You can disable pop-ups for specific websites in Chrome's settings. Just disable popups from ATRL and it should fix the problem.

So my advice is:

Clean your browser's history, cookies and cache.
Get a better anti-virus, there are many good options out there.
Perhaps also change your current browser, internet explorer is not good.
