In my state the least people should tip is 20% of a check thats if serves was ok if serves was bad then 10% and if serves was good then more then 20%

**** where i work they dont even pay me per hour to be a server i have to pray all the gods it's busy i've worked 8 hour shifts and walked out with less then $100 during winter but thank god for summer cause the same amount of hours and i would leave with anywhere between $300-$500

Well, I've never really eaten out and payed myself but the food here is so expensive that tips isn't really important.
On vacation South in EU my parents usually do about 10%

Since the food industry is all I've done for work I tip how I would like to be tipped.

I have only ever stiffed someone once but they were they worst waitress I have ever experienced and was rude and forgetful and just dumb

20% normally. 25 if the service is really great. 15 if it's bad. And 10 if it's just awful. It would take a traumatizing experience for me not to tip at all tho. That's just horrible.
