People need to Google the
science behind showering before they start judging people for showering twice a day.
Don't be so basic. Everyone's body chemistry is different, so everyone has different needs when it comes to bathing. Most people definitely do not need to shower every day. It depends on your lifestyle and body.
Overwashing can be very bad for your skin. You can shower twice a day and smell nasty. You can shower once a week and smell fantastic. If you need to shower twice a day, you probably have some sort of issue going on that you need to investigate... and it's probably rooted in the fact that you keep ****ing up your skin's pH balance by not only ripping the natural oils off and not letting it secrete properly but also by rubbing your skin with a towel to get the water off and thus making the top layer of skin extra susceptible to the harms of the environment.
During heatwaves, I do sometimes shower 2x a day. But in the winter? Hell no. I live in Canada, my home is phenomenally dry due to the central heating and I tend to stay at home. Unless I'm exercising, I shower maybe every 2 days or 3 days. If I exercise, I shower immediately after.

It's also fine if you miss a day here and there but it shouldn't be habitual to not bathe daily
Like, some of you need better hygiene. That's so disgusting where you're going out every day but you take a shower every other day.
Sweat and dirt builds up. Those of you who do that, probably have all kinds of acne on your back, chest and face if your hygiene is like that.

On that note, just as an FYI to some people who may be suffering from body acne on here, yet they shower often... check out the soap you're using. SLS (google it) is a common ingredient in soap/body wash/shampoo/dish detergent/toothpaste etc. and although effective, it can throw off the pH balance of your skin because it's TOO drying. Oily skin is not the only bad one, dry skin is also a bad thing. It also causes body acne. Your back gets a double dosage of SLS from shampoo and from your body soap. Think about it.

Don't you want to wake up and have a shower and feel great starting the day? If you have a shower at night, what's the point... you're just going to go to sleep and then wake up and start the day technically unshowered again anyway? Unless I'm missing something...

Big temperature change in the mornings when you jump in the shower, you can experience headaches (or in my case, full on migranes because I'm prone to them) by the blood pressure changed caused by a morning hot shower. They don't last long but the last thing the world needs is for me to be grumpier in the morning. The solution is to step into a cold shower but ... **** that noise. Also when I relax, I go full on ZEN mode... so a shower before getting into fresh bed sheets is the ****. Just another perspective haha, there's no "right" way
