I'd love if Rih lays off the Edgy thing for R8 and softens it up a little, scaling back never hurt.

No but it wasn't planned I was browsing on my work break in Sears and saw Reb'l Fleur. I didn't ask about Rogue but I bought the TTT deluxe and I loved the sample back then and I told myself I'd buy it some day

When you say scaled back what do you have in mind? I thought Unapologetic was the perfect mix for her with a lot of midtempo songs that were fit for adult contemporary. I'm not sure where she would go next by scaling back more. I'm not saying she should go full out Rated R again, but I want her to do something that would make a splash or make her stand out. She's competing with Beyonce singles if she releases during the spring and it has to be a good career move.

- I prefer Rihs edgy attitude and I think she did a good job of displaying a mature sound with Stay and Diamonds.
If she's gonna make any adjustments next era I think she should tone down the ratchet. ( Stop replying to internet trolls and engaging in online beefs ) but she can still give us sex appeal and occasional raunchy songs.

I don't want her to go all boring on us now, but I'm here for a mature badass evolution.

I actually think Loud was the most scaled back Rih has been since A Girl Like Me, she hasn't been that soft since back then.

She's proven that she's edgy but she's also getting older and while Unapologetic was a near perfect mix of edge and maturity I think she should take it down just a little more.

I don't think the BadGal thing is truly her 100% of the time and Rih has admitted she doesn't care much for partying like before and her next era should reflect this subtlety she seems to have adopted.

I know what you mean. I think the 'ratchet phase' should end, like that trend is kind of over. Not saying she ditch the bad gal riri persona because that's all her, but the ratchetness is too much now. I want some 'bad' but somewhat classy and sensual too. Idk how to describe it. She always has some trick up her sleeve tho, I trust ha!

I doubt she'd ever do an acoustic record but like I've been saying Pop Rock, Pop Reggae album would set her apart.

Over the years I think Rih has lost some good will and while she still has a reasonably large fanbase I think she lost some casual fans after Loud and even arguably since GGGB(although sales in general have decreased since then).

Her next album should be something that can bring back a lot of casual fans (Like Rated R did), and also satisfy her current fans as well.

I don't think it's so much that her era's are messy which is to blame for her sales(although that plays a part) the Loud era was messy after S&M and it sold about 2.5 mill after that.

She needs to gain more casual fans back In album sales because people already bop to ha singles.

I have the set for Reb'l Fleur. It never gets old.
