If history tells us anything 2000s fashion & culture/music will be back around 2017.
Here are some receipts for you:
1980s: A huge 1950s nostalgia craze buried culture with films like
Back to the Future, wearing leather jackets and 50s diners.
1990s: 60s/70s culture came back with Afros, a new genre called
G-funk including styles of the 70s and a show called That 70s show
oh and who can forget bell bottoms!
2000s: 80s culture came back, thing Gwen Stefani, Big belt dresses
80s rock tee, Rock band game, and all of those 80s movies
and A apparel neon hoodies.
So this show us the 2010s at least at the end of this decade will have a huge
2000s influence.
No, it won't. There's a twenty year rule with this, the early 2000s will begin to comeback around 2021, with that decade treating the 2000s how we treat the 90s now, with a lot of the 2000s being "cool" in the late 2020s and 2030s.

we didnt have the internet b4 to the degree we have it now
Fashion now is weird. The 2010s doesn't have any defining qualities yet. Right now this is the copycat decade - looking to the past, retro stuff, thrifting - but nothing NEW and innovative. Are we just too lazy to do something that hasn't been done yet?
