It has always bugged me why guests are allowed to see personal pictures of members on here. I mean what's the point? I think that PYP should be members-only for our own safety and peace of mind. I hope the Site Lords take time to look thru this.

we're living in a social media era. even though we're anonymous on ATRL, we have Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts where we upload pics and videos of ourselfs that a lot of people can see.
If you already uploaded a photo of you to PYP, what's the difference if it's seen by 500 atrl users and 250 more guests?

We've discussed this and I think it will be hidden eventually, but yeah I don't think it's a big deal. ATRL is a huge community, whether outsiders can also view the pics doesn't make much of a difference. Don't post your picture if you don't want it all over the internet.

Please don't give them any ideas.

I thought this was gonna mean private for members as well, which I would've definitely disagreed to. But yeah, I actually think guests should be blocked out. Nobody knows who could be watching and the fact that people you don't know are going over your pictures is a biT weird. At least you can see when members are in the thread and (if they're not on invisible) see who they are, while you never know who a guest is and they're more likely to do mischievous things with your pic than a member would.

Well people who post in there know going into it that they are going to be viewed by guests so that should be taken into consideration before posting a pic. That being said, I would probably post in there if it was private.
