It's simple: If you didn't contribute anything, you shouldn't be allowed to take credit for someone else's work. Kelly re-wrote 2/3 of What Doesn't Kill You and she flat out refused to take credit away from the original creator of the song and let her have the full spotlight when WDKY was nominated for SOTY.

That's Kelly, though. If Beyoncé sees her contribution enough to get a credit, she can get it as she wants. There is nothing illegal about it, so I don't see what's wrong about it. Hell, I'd demand my credit if I sneezed and the songwriter was inspired by it.
